GW274150 phosphate(CAT: I016430) is a potent, selective, and orally active inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) inhibitor that acts in an NADPH-dependent manner. It inhibits human iNOS with an IC₅₀ of 2.19 μM and a Kd of 40 nM, while also suppressing rat iNOS with an ED₅₀ of 1.15 μM. Importantly, it shows significantly lower potency toward endothelial NOS (eNOS) and neuronal NOS (nNOS), highlighting its selectivity. GW274150 phosphate has demonstrated protective effects in acute lung injury models, where iNOS-mediated nitric oxide production drives inflammation. This compound is a valuable tool for studying inflammation, immunology, and cardiovascular disease research.
