GSA-10 (Cat No.: R062081) is a small-molecule agonist of smoothened (SMO), a key transmembrane protein in the Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway. By activating SMO, GSA-10 stimulates downstream Gli transcription factors, promoting gene expression involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue regeneration. It is used in developmental biology and regenerative medicine research to study Hh pathway activation and its role in stem cell biology, neurogenesis, and tissue repair. GSA-10 also serves as a tool to explore Hedgehog-related mechanisms in cancer and other pathological conditions.
