GLP-1(7-36), amide TFA(Cat No.:I044778)is the biologically active form of glucagon-like peptide-1, a 30-amino-acid incretin hormone derived from proglucagon. It plays a key role in glucose homeostasis by enhancing glucose-dependent insulin secretion, suppressing glucagon release, slowing gastric emptying, and promoting satiety. The amidated C-terminus improves metabolic stability and mimics the native human form. Supplied as a trifluoroacetate (TFA) salt, GLP-1(7-36), amide is widely used in diabetes and obesity research, as well as in the development of GLP-1 receptor agonists for therapeutic management of type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders.
