Fluorescein-DBCO(CAT: I016399) is a fluorescent dye conjugate that combines the bright green fluorophore fluorescein with a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) moiety for copper-free click chemistry. The DBCO group reacts rapidly and selectively with azide-containing biomolecules through strain-promoted alkyne–azide cycloaddition (SPAAC), eliminating the need for toxic copper catalysts and preserving biological activity. The fluorescein component provides strong excitation/emission properties (Ex ~495 nm, Em ~520 nm), making it ideal for fluorescence imaging, microscopy, and flow cytometry applications. This reagent is widely applied in biomolecule labeling, live-cell imaging, and tracking of azide-modified proteins, glycans, or nucleic acids in bioconjugation and bioorthogonal research.
