Fluazifop-P-butyl(Cat No.:R069443)is a selective aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide widely used for post-emergence control of annual and perennial grasses in broadleaf crops. After uptake, it is rapidly hydrolyzed to fluazifop-P, the active form that inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), a key enzyme in fatty acid biosynthesis. This inhibition disrupts lipid metabolism, leading to growth arrest and plant death. Fluazifop-P-butyl is highly effective in crops such as soybeans, peanuts, and cotton. In research, it is employed to study herbicide resistance, lipid biosynthesis, and grass weed management strategies in agricultural systems.
