DPO-1 (Cat No.:I010578) is a selective inhibitor of voltage-gated potassium channels, particularly Kv1.5, which is predominantly expressed in atrial tissue. By blocking Kv1.5, DPO-1 prolongs atrial action potential duration without significantly affecting ventricular repolarization, making it a promising tool in atrial-selective antiarrhythmic research. It is widely used in cardiac electrophysiology studies to investigate atrial fibrillation mechanisms and the role of Kv channels in cardiac repolarization. DPO-1 also exhibits some inhibitory activity on other Kv channels, such as Kv1.3, making it relevant in immunological and vascular research as well.
