DPM-1001(Cat No.:I017967)is a highly selective copper chelator that binds excess intracellular copper while sparing other essential metal ions such as zinc and iron. By restoring copper homeostasis, it has demonstrated therapeutic potential in disorders of copper overload, including Wilson’s disease and certain neurodegenerative conditions. Unlike broad-spectrum chelators, DPM-1001 shows reduced toxicity and improved selectivity, offering advantages for long-term applications.
