Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide (Cat No.:L012140) is a high-performance photoinitiator used primarily in UV-curable formulations. With the molecular formula C22H21O2P, it features a phosphine oxide core bonded to a 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl group and two phenyl rings. TPO is valued for its strong absorption in the near-UV range and efficient radical generation, making it ideal for polymerization of acrylates in coatings, inks, adhesives, and dental materials. It offers excellent depth curing and color stability. Typically supplied as a pale yellow powder, TPO should be handled with care under light-protected, dry conditions.
