Dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine) palladium(II)(Cat No.: R042742), commonly written as PdCl₂(PPh₃)₂, is a square planar palladium(II) complex widely used as a homogeneous catalyst in organic synthesis. It plays a key role in cross-coupling reactions such as Suzuki, Heck, and Stille reactions, enabling carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bond formation. The triphenylphosphine ligands stabilize the palladium center and influence reactivity and selectivity. This air-stable yellow crystalline compound is a cornerstone in transition metal catalysis and is intended for laboratory and research applications in synthetic chemistry.
