DBCO-PEG12-NHS ester(Cat No.:I045932)is a bifunctional reagent that links a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group with an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester through a PEG12 spacer. The DBCO moiety enables rapid, copper-free strain-promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC), offering highly selective and biocompatible conjugation with azides. The NHS ester reacts efficiently with primary amines to form stable amide bonds, allowing straightforward attachment to proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules. The PEG12 chain enhances solubility, minimizes steric hindrance, and provides flexibility.
