Dapoxetine hydrochloride (Cat No.: M017671) is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) primarily used for the treatment of premature ejaculation in men. It increases serotonin levels in the synaptic cleft, enhancing control over ejaculation and prolonging intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT). Unlike typical SSRIs, dapoxetine is rapidly absorbed and eliminated, making it suitable for on-demand use. It is typically administered 1–3 hours before sexual activity. Dapoxetine hydrochloride is generally well tolerated, with side effects including nausea, dizziness, and headache.
