Coralyne chloride (Cat No.: I025103) is a synthetic antimalarial and intercalating agent structurally related to acridine derivatives. It binds strongly to nucleic acids, particularly DNA, and has been widely used to study triplex DNA formation, telomeric structures, and nucleic acid–ligand interactions. Coralyne exhibits antiprotozoal, antimicrobial, and anticancer activities through its ability to disrupt DNA processes and inhibit cell proliferation. In research, it serves as a valuable chemical probe for exploring DNA binding, molecular recognition, and therapeutic development targeting nucleic acid structures.
