CMLD-2（Cat No.:I044359）is a small-molecule inhibitor that selectively disrupts the interaction between the RNA-binding protein HuR (Human antigen R) and its target mRNAs. HuR stabilizes and regulates the translation of mRNAs involved in cancer progression, inflammation, and cell survival. By inhibiting HuR-mRNA binding, CMLD-2 reduces the expression of pro-tumorigenic and pro-inflammatory proteins such as cyclins, COX-2, and TNF-α. CMLD-2 has demonstrated antitumor and anti-inflammatory effects in preclinical models, making it a valuable research tool and a potential therapeutic candidate for diseases driven by post-transcriptional gene regulation.
