For research use only. Not for therapeutic Use.
cis-Dimethyl(N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine)palladium(II)(CAT: M017194) is a square-planar organopalladium(II) complex containing two methyl ligands and a chelating TMEDA (tetramethylethylenediamine) ligand. This complex serves as a precatalyst or reactive intermediate in C–C and C–heteroatom bond-forming reactions, particularly in cross-coupling, hydrofunctionalization, and C–H activation chemistry. The TMEDA ligand stabilizes the palladium center while allowing for ligand substitution and oxidative addition, making the complex highly valuable in mechanistic studies and catalyst design. Its well-defined structure and solubility in organic solvents also make it a useful reagent in both homogeneous catalysis and organometallic synthesis research.
