Chromanol 293B（Cat No.:I010409）is a selective inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel KCNQ1 (KvLQT1), particularly effective when co-assembled with the KCNE1 subunit to form the IKs current in cardiac cells. By blocking this slow delayed rectifier potassium current, Chromanol 293B prolongs cardiac action potential duration and has been widely used to study cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis. It is also applied in research on epithelial ion transport, including in the gastrointestinal tract. Chromanol 293B is a valuable pharmacological tool for investigating potassium channel function and developing treatments for cardiac and epithelial disorders.
