Chlorotoxin TFA(Cat No.:I046125)is a 36-amino acid peptide originally isolated from Leiurus quinquestriatus scorpion venom. It selectively binds to chloride channels and matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), making it a valuable molecular probe for studying glioma and other tumor cell biology. Chlorotoxin has been widely investigated for its ability to inhibit cell invasion and migration, particularly in brain cancer research. Supplied as a trifluoroacetate (TFA) salt, it provides stability for experimental use. This peptide is applied in oncology, neurobiology, ion channel studies, and targeted drug delivery research.
