CH2COOH-PEG6-CH2COOH(Cat No.:I044723)is a linear, homobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative with terminal carboxylic acid (–CH2COOH) groups at both ends of a PEG6 chain. The PEG6 spacer provides excellent water solubility, flexibility, and biocompatibility, while the terminal carboxylic acids enable efficient coupling to amines via amide bond formation using carbodiimide chemistry. This molecule is widely used in bioconjugation, surface modification, hydrogel formation, and drug delivery systems. It allows for the creation of crosslinked or multifunctional materials, improving the hydrophilicity, stability, and bioavailability of therapeutic agents or biomolecular assemblies.
