CD2665(CAT: M035323) is an orally active and selective retinoic acid receptor (RAR) antagonist, with binding affinities (Kd) of 306 nM for RAR-β and 110 nM for RAR-γ. By specifically targeting RAR-β/γ, CD2665 modulates retinoid signaling pathways involved in growth, differentiation, and neural regulation. In 3T3 cells, CD2665 (100 nM; 9 days) significantly influences cell growth and differentiation. In vivo, subcutaneous administration (0.6 mg/kg; daily for 22 days) completely suppresses RARβ mRNA overexpression in alcohol-treated mice. Functionally, CD2665 induces the expected maturation delay and growth plate expansion, making it a valuable tool in retinoid biology and disease research.
