Bz-(Me)Tz-NHS (Cat No.: I042594) is a reactive labeling reagent combining a benzyl-methyl tetrazine (Bz-(Me)Tz) moiety with an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester for efficient conjugation to primary amines on biomolecules. The NHS ester enables stable covalent attachment to proteins or peptides, while the tetrazine group allows rapid, bioorthogonal inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder (IEDDA) reactions with trans-cyclooctene (TCO) tags. Bz-(Me)Tz-NHS is widely used in click chemistry for live-cell imaging, targeted delivery, and bioconjugation applications in chemical biology, proteomics, and diagnostics.
