Butyltin trichloride (Cat No.:R025083) is an organotin compound with the molecular formula C4H9Cl3Sn. This compound is primarily used as an intermediate in the production of organotin stabilizers for PVC, catalysts, and biocides. It is highly reactive with moisture, releasing hydrochloric acid upon hydrolysis.
