Bisphenol F (CAT: R056096) is an organic compound belonging to the bisphenol family, structurally composed of two hydroxyphenyl groups linked by a methylene bridge. It is a key monomer used in the production of epoxy resins, phenolic resins, and high-performance plastics, offering enhanced thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. Compared to Bisphenol A (BPA), Bisphenol F has a lower molecular weight and different isomeric composition, which can lead to improved processing and performance characteristics. BPF is used in coatings, adhesives, electronic materials, and composites, and is also being studied as a BPA alternative in consumer products and packaging.
