Bis-propargyl-PEG7(CAT: I014265) is a homobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker featuring terminal propargyl (alkyne) groups at both ends of a PEG7 spacer. The alkyne moieties enable efficient copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (“click chemistry”), allowing the creation of stable triazole linkages. The PEG7 chain provides excellent aqueous solubility, flexibility, and reduced steric hindrance, making this reagent highly versatile in bioconjugation, polymer modification, surface functionalization, and nanomaterials research. Its symmetrical design allows for crosslinking or the preparation of multifunctional constructs in chemical biology and materials science, where reliable, orthogonal, and high-yield coupling reactions are essential.
