Bis-propargyl-PEG3(CAT: I016887) is a homobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker featuring terminal propargyl (alkyne) groups connected by a three-unit PEG spacer. The terminal alkynes readily participate in copper-catalyzed or strain-promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (“click chemistry”), forming stable triazole linkages with azide-containing molecules. The PEG3 spacer provides hydrophilicity, molecular flexibility, and reduced steric hindrance, improving solubility and reaction efficiency in both aqueous and organic systems. Bis-propargyl-PEG3 is widely used in bioconjugation, crosslinking, surface modification, polymer functionalization, and nanotechnology, supporting the creation of multifunctional constructs. Its symmetrical structure makes it ideal for generating well-defined dual-modified biomolecules and advanced material assemblies.
