Bis-PEG25-NHS ester(CAT: I016927) is a homobifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) crosslinker featuring N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) esters at both ends of a 25-unit PEG spacer. The activated NHS esters react efficiently with primary amines, enabling the formation of stable amide bonds under mild conditions. The long PEG25 chain provides excellent aqueous solubility, extended linker length, and reduced steric hindrance, making it ideal for bridging biomolecules or modifying surfaces. Bis-PEG25-NHS ester is widely applied in protein crosslinking, antibody–drug conjugates, nanomaterials, and surface functionalization, where long, flexible, and hydrophilic linkers are required to improve biocompatibility, reduce aggregation, and enhance molecular spacing in complex systems.
