Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethylheptanedionato)palladium(II) (Cat No.: M078788), often abbreviated as Pd(TMHD)₂, is a palladium(II) complex featuring two bulky β-diketonate ligands. This yellow crystalline compound is widely used as a precursor in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) processes for creating palladium thin films and nanostructures. Its thermal stability, volatility, and well-defined coordination environment make it ideal for material science and catalysis applications. Pd(TMHD)₂ is also employed in homogeneous catalysis for carbon-carbon coupling and hydrogenation reactions in fine chemical synthesis.
