Balcinrenone (Cat No.: I022893) is a synthetic mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA) developed as part of a new generation of nonsteroidal MRAs. By selectively blocking the mineralocorticoid receptor, it prevents the harmful effects of excess aldosterone, including sodium retention, fibrosis, and inflammation. Balcinrenone has been investigated for its potential in treating cardiovascular and renal diseases, such as hypertension, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease.
