Azido-PEG6-azide(CAT: I016266) is a symmetric, bifunctional polyethylene glycol (PEG) linker bearing terminal azide groups on both ends of a six-unit PEG chain. The dual azide functionalities enable efficient participation in bioorthogonal click chemistry, particularly copper-catalyzed (CuAAC) or strain-promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC), for conjugation with alkyne-bearing molecules. The PEG6 spacer provides flexibility, hydrophilicity, and enhanced solubility, while reducing steric hindrance during reactions. This reagent is widely applied in bioconjugation, probe design, polymer modification, and advanced materials research, where a medium-length PEG linker with reactive azide groups facilitates controlled spacing and efficient molecular assembly.
