Ammonium bisulfate (Cat No.:R071131) is an inorganic acid salt formed by the partial neutralization of sulfuric acid with ammonia. It typically appears as colorless or white crystals that are highly soluble in water, producing an acidic solution. Commonly used as a fertilizer, it also serves in metal finishing, flame retardants, and as an intermediate in the production of ammonium alum. In analytical chemistry, it functions as a reagent and pH adjuster. Due to its corrosive and acidic nature, ammonium bisulfate crystals must be handled with care and stored properly.
