Altrenogest (Cat No.: A001052) is a synthetic progestin used primarily in veterinary medicine to regulate the estrous cycle in mares and pigs. It mimics the hormone progesterone, suppressing ovulation and maintaining pregnancy or delaying heat for controlled breeding. Administered orally, it is commonly used to synchronize estrus in livestock, improving breeding management and outcomes.
