Alarelin acetate (Cat No.: I001702) is a synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used primarily in veterinary medicine and reproductive research. It mimics natural GnRH by stimulating the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland, thereby inducing ovulation or spermiation. Alarelin is often applied in aquaculture and animal breeding to synchronize reproductive cycles. It is administered via injection or implant. Prolonged use may lead to receptor desensitization and reduced hormone responsiveness due to downregulation of GnRH receptors.
