4,4’-Methylenebis(cyclohexylamine)(CAT: R036929), also known as PACM or hydrogenated MDA, is an aliphatic diamine consisting of two cyclohexylamine units linked via a methylene bridge at the 4-position. It is widely used as a curing agent for epoxy resins, offering excellent chemical resistance, toughness, and thermal stability. PACM is also employed in the synthesis of polyureas, polyamides, and specialty polymers. Its low color and good mechanical performance make it suitable for coatings, adhesives, composites, and elastomers used in demanding industrial applications. The compound’s bifunctional reactivity and structural rigidity support high-performance material development in both construction and electronics industries.
