For research use only. Not for therapeutic Use.
(4-(N,N-Dimethylamino)phenyl)di-tert-butylphosphine(Cat No.:L034949)is an electron-rich, sterically hindered phosphine ligand featuring a dimethylamino-substituted phenyl ring and two bulky tert-butyl groups attached to the phosphorus atom. This compound is widely used in homogeneous catalysis, particularly in palladium- and nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions such as Suzuki-Miyaura and Buchwald-Hartwig amination. The electron-donating dimethylamino group enhances the ligand’s basicity and coordination strength, while the bulky tert-butyl groups promote selectivity and reduce unwanted side reactions. It is especially valuable in challenging catalytic transformations requiring highly active, tunable ligands with strong σ-donor and steric properties.
