(29H,31H-Phthalocyaninato(2-)-N29,N30,N31,N32)copper(Cat No.:M069643), commonly known as copper phthalocyanine (CuPc), is a vivid blue, macrocyclic coordination complex where a central copper(II) ion is coordinated by four isoindole nitrogen atoms of the phthalocyanine ring. This highly conjugated, planar aromatic structure gives it intense color, excellent stability, and strong UV/visible absorption properties. CuPc is extensively used as a pigment in inks, paints, plastics, and textiles, and serves in electronics, photovoltaics, and sensors. It is chemically inert, thermally stable, and resistant to light and weathering, making it ideal for long-lasting color and functional material applications.
