2,2’-Dipyridyl(CAT: R002416), also known as 2,2’-bipyridine, is a heteroaromatic compound with the molecular formula C₁₀H₈N₂, composed of two pyridine rings connected at their 2-positions. It appears as a white to pale-yellow crystalline solid and is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, chloroform, and acetone.
