2,2’-Dibenzothiazoyl Disulfide (Cat No.:R040186) is a pale yellow powder widely used as a vulcanization accelerator in rubber manufacturing. It enhances the cross-linking process between sulfur and rubber polymers, improving elasticity, strength, and aging resistance. MBTS is also known for its moderate curing speed, making it suitable for a variety of rubber applications including tires, belts, and industrial hoses. It exhibits good storage stability and low toxicity compared to other accelerators. In addition to rubber processing, MBTS may serve as an intermediate in chemical synthesis and material development.
