2-(Benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolane(Cat No.:L045411)is an organoboron compound with the molecular formula C13H17BO4. It features a boronic ester (dioxaborolane) core substituted with a benzo[d][1,3]dioxole ring at the 2-position, and four methyl groups providing steric stability. This compound is widely used in Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions for forming carbon–carbon bonds in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and organic materials. The boronic ester moiety is both stable and reactive under mild conditions, making it ideal for palladium-catalyzed transformations. It is typically a crystalline solid and should be stored dry and protected from air and moisture.
