For research use only. Not for therapeutic Use.
[1,3-Bis(diphenylphosphino)propane]nickel(II) chloride(Cat No.: M087794), often abbreviated as Ni(dppp)Cl₂, is a coordination complex featuring a nickel(II) center chelated by the bidentate diphosphine ligand dppp and two chloride ligands. This air-sensitive, reddish solid is widely used as a catalyst or catalyst precursor in cross-coupling reactions such as Kumada, Suzuki, and Negishi couplings. Its rigid diphosphine framework stabilizes low-valent nickel species, enhancing reactivity and selectivity in C–C and C–X bond-forming reactions, making it valuable in both academic and industrial synthetic chemistry.
