Perfluoro-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane (Cat.No:I034444) is perfluorinated branched cyclohexane used as a synthesis reagent for amorphous fluorocarbon film preparation by plasma polymerization, and for hydroformylation of linear terminal alkenes. As a chemically inert compound similar in properties to other perfluorocarbons, perfluoro-1,3-dimethylcyclohexane is an ideal tracer for other fluorocarbons as it can be detected at very low concentrations.
